Celtics' Duo Dominates, Leads Team to Brink of NBA Finals Victory

Porzingis' Absence No Match for Boston's Star Power

Celtics Take 3-0 Lead in NBA Finals with 106-98 Win

In a highly anticipated game that saw the Boston Celtics face off against the Dallas Mavericks without their star player Kristaps Porzingis, the Celtics' dynamic duo of Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown proved unstoppable, leading their team to a commanding 106-98 victory and putting them just one win away from securing the NBA championship.

Despite a valiant effort from the Mavericks in the second half, the Celtics' relentless defense and efficient offense proved too much to overcome. Tatum and Brown combined for 50 points, with Tatum scoring 28 points and Brown adding 22. The Celtics also received key contributions from Robert Williams III, who grabbed 14 rebounds, and Marcus Smart, who had 12 assists.

The Mavericks, who were hoping to take advantage of Porzingis' absence, struggled offensively and were unable to keep up with the Celtics' high-powered attack. Luka Dončić, who led the Mavericks with 31 points, was uncharacteristically inefficient, shooting just 9-for-26 from the field. Spencer Dinwiddie added 19 points for Dallas, but it was not enough to overcome the Celtics' balanced scoring.

With the Celtics now holding a 3-0 lead in the best-of-seven series, they will look to close out the Mavericks in Game 4 on Wednesday. The Mavericks, on the other hand, will need to find a way to generate more offense and slow down the Celtics' dynamic duo if they hope to extend the series.
