The Mavericks were led by Luka Doncic, who finished with 31 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 assists. However, Doncic's efforts were not enough to overcome the Celtics' balanced attack.

The Mavericks made a run in the fourth quarter, but the Celtics were able to hold on for the win. Irving hit a key jumper with 2:30 remaining to give the Celtics a 100-93 lead, and the Mavericks were never able to get closer than 5 points.
The series now shifts to Dallas for Games 3 and 4 on Wednesday and Friday. The Mavericks will need to win at least one game at home to keep their hopes of winning the championship alive.
