The Boston Bruins have grabbed a 1-0 lead in their Eastern Conference second-round series against the Florida Panthers after a convincing 5-1 victory in Game 1 on Tuesday night at TD Garden.

Bruins Dominate in Game 1

The Bruins were in control from start to finish, outshooting the Panthers 47-27 and holding them to just 1-for-7 on the power play. Jake DeBrusk led the way with two goals, while David Pastrnak, Patrice Bergeron, and Brad Marchand each added one. Tuukka Rask made 26 saves for the win.

The Bruins will look to take a 2-0 series lead when they host Game 2 on Thursday night at TD Garden. The Panthers will need to find a way to generate more offense if they want to avoid falling into an 0-2 hole.
